Speech

Good morning to my beloved students of the Sports Club. I will be your teacher-in-charge for this year for this club. I'm very thankful for this opportunity to give out my speech which is abut the need to wear protective gear while playing games.

Kids nowadays are getting wild. They even don't know how important  is the protective gear. It is actually can protect our head, knees, elbows and other parts of our body. By protecting them, we can prevent some serious injuries such as brain damage. This kind of method is rhyme to an idiom of 'put your head on the block'.

     Students,
Helmet is an example of protective gear. Helmets are used for sports like American football, hockey, baseball and many more. This kind of sports is rough. This is why helmets is used for this games just to protect the player's head. The helmets should fit firmly with the size of your head. This is ensure your safety is secured.

Besides, eye protection is also an example for protective gear. Goggles are an eye protection that are used  for basketball, squash and water sports. This can protect our eyes from dirt entering our eyes. Goggles should also fit securely onto our eyes. This can prevent us from being blind or blurry-sighted.

Other than that, guard is another example of protective gear. We use mouth guards to protect mouth, teeth and tongue from injured. Wrist, knee and elbow guards is also important, This can secured us from being paralyzed.

This is all I can tell all of you about the importance of protective gears. Thank you for spending your time listening to my speech. I wish all of you always in a good health. Remember, put your head on the block when playing games.
